Here we go again! Someone is posing as a police officer and asking for money.

Remember, employees of the Naples Police Department will never ask you for money/gift cards/payment over the phone for any reason.

We have been made aware of another phone scam where an individual received a phone call from someone claiming to be "Sgt. or Lt. Young" with our department, asking for money.

Should you receive a call from any number where an individual is posing as a Naples Police Officer/Investigator requesting any form of payment (money/gift cards, etc.), hang up and contact the Naples Police Department at 239-213-3000.
