Last night Oakes first responders escorted Mr. and Mrs. Claus around the Oakes area to deliver gifts and food to the families nominated in the 5th annual First Noel with First Responder event.  They were escorted by Oakes Police Department, North Dakota Parole and Probation, Oakes Fire Department, Oakes Ambulance Service, and Dickey County Sheriffs Office.  

Thank you once again to those who purchased gifts and donated Oakes bucks for the event.  Also, thank you to Oakes Public School for donating pajamas for every child that was nominated.  Your generosity and support is the reason we are able to continue to have this event every year.
