The Oakes Police Department is notifying the community that a registered sex offender, Kelly Christopher Tanner, has registered at 33 Main Ave Oakes, North Dakota 58474. 

Tanner was assessed as a Level III HIGH-RISK offender by the North Dakota Sex Offender Risk Assesment committee.  High risk offenders require a lifetime registration on the sex offender list and are contacted every 30 days to verify their status.

Tanner has a conviction for Sexual Assault in 2008 and Gross Sexual Imposition in 2003.  Both cases involved juveniles.
