Oakes Police Department announced the release of a new smartphone application for police content. The OPD app will serve as a new way for Oakes police to connect with residents and visitors, providing information quickly and efficiently to anyone with a smartphone.  Users will be able to opt-in to receive urgent notifications.  Users need to make sure they allow notifications from the app.

Users can see news releases, submit tips, pay fines, access the North Dakota court page, look up city ordinances, review department annual reports, access calls for service for the previous month, look up sex offenders, access community service information and find contact information for all emergency services in Oakes.

Developed by apexmobile.net, the OPD app is available for download for free in the App Store and Google Play. Search "Oakes Police Department".
