Effective today inmate programs and visitation are suspended this week. Yesterday we had inmates test positive for COVID. We currently have the positive inmates contained to one pod and they are doing well, we would like to keep it that way, this is why these programs in shared common areas by pod are suspended. We have made it two years without any COVID positive inmates and attribute the dedication of Detention staff and guidance from Sublette County Public Health on being able to prevent it this long.
These programs will be re-evaluated next week and on a weekly basis on when we can return to normal programs and visitation. We thank everyone for their continued patience.
