8/23/2021 Back to School Bus Safety reminder 2022!

It’s hard to believe summers coming to an end and school is back in session for Big Piney this week and Pinedale next week. Every year the SCSO fields many calls during the school year reporting drivers passing school buses. We are sharing this graphic to help illustrate the different places school buses could stop. A common area in Sublette County that causes confusion is in Boulder between Meadowlark and the Boulder store. This example is illustrated in the middle of the graphic when a bus has its lights and stop signs activated ALL traffic must stop across all lanes not just the same side as the bus.

Let’s take our student’s safety seriously as our kids go back to School this week in Sublette County.
