(Pinedale, Wyo. – July 13th, 2026) — The Sublette County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in investigating an incident involving the apparent discharge of a firearm in Pinedale over the weekend.
(Pinedale, Wyo. – July 13th, 2026) — The Sublette County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in investigating an incident involving the apparent discharge of a firearm in Pinedale over the weekend.
The Sheriff's Office received a report this morning from a homeowner who discovered a hole in a window that appeared to be consistent with a firearm projectile. Investigators believe the projectile entered the residence after being fired somewhere in the vicinity of Jade Street and Quartz Avenue.
Based on the investigation, the incident is believed to have occurred sometime between the afternoon of Friday, July 10th, and the morning of Monday, July 13th. During that time, a bullet traveled through the window of the residence. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who may have heard gunfire, observed suspicious activity, or has information that could assist investigators to contact the Sublette County Sheriff's Office.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Sublette County Sheriff's Office at 307-367-4378. Information, no matter how minor it may seem, could be valuable to the investigation.
The investigation remains active, and no additional information is being released at this time.
