(Pinedale, Wyo. – June 30th, 2026) Sheriff's Office Seeking Public Assistance in Boulder Area Burglary Investigation.
The Sublette County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance in the investigation of a burglary reported on the evening of June 18th, 2026, at a residence located south of Boulder, Wyoming.
During the burglary, prescription medications and a firearm were reported to be stolen. The firearm is described as a Browning X-Bolt rifle chambered in 7mm. At the time it was stolen, the rifle was equipped with a Nightforce NX8 riflescope.
Investigators are releasing photographs of an identical Browning X-Bolt rifle belonging to the owner. The rifle shown in the photographs does not have the Nightforce scope attached but is otherwise representative of the stolen firearm.
