Bicycle Sundays are back – and that means a stretch of the Bronx River Parkway will be closed today between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The closure will be in effect between Scarsdale Road in Yonkers (Exit 4) and the Westchester County Center in White Plains (Exit 22).

Motorists who use the BRP in that area should seek an alternate route. Everyone else should grab their bikes and come on over!

Bicycle Sundays are traditionally held on Sundays in May, June and September. There’s a bonus this year – the event will continue through the first Sunday of October (Oct. 2.)

WCPD officers will be along the route so give us a wave or say hello!
