JULY 4TH FIREWORKS INFO

FIREWORKS & BEACH GUIDELINES

  • Time: 9:00 PM
  • Naples Pier Closure:
  • 12th Ave S, west of Gulf Shore Blvd S, will be closed all day July 4, 2025
  • The boardwalk and stairs will be closed at 5:00 PM on July 4th; restrooms and showers will be accessible via ramp.

Traffic Congestion:

  • Expected 9:00–11:00 PM.
  • Expect delays on U.S. 41 (both directions near 5th Ave S).
  • Gulf Shore Boulevard North, between 4th Ave N and Oleander Drive will remain CLOSED due to infrastructure improvements.

Additionally, the following seven beach accesses are CLOSED. Please plan accordingly.

8th Ave N | North Lake Drive | 3rd Ave N | 3rd Ave S | 14th Ave S | 15th Ave S | 16th Ave S

Parking Regulations:

  • Limited and first-come, first-served in designated areas only
  • No parking on either side of Gulf Shore Blvd between 20th Ave S and 8th Ave N/S Golf Dr
  • Violators will be cited and towed
  • Time limits enforced; follow posted signage
  • Unmetered spaces: Require beach parking permit
  • Metered spaces: Require payment or beach parking permit
  • 24 beach ends are reserved for City and County beach permit holders only
  • No trailers, RVs, trucks, or buses within one block of the beach

Safety & Ordinance Reminders:

City Ordinance 24-202 prohibits possession or use of any fireworks or sparklers on beaches, in parks, at the Pier and parking area, in beach accesses, or on street-end rights-of-way west of Gulf Shore Boulevard.

Prohibited on beaches:

  • Fireworks, sparklers, sky lanterns, celebratory gun firing into the air
  • Littering, glass, animals, fires, grills, loud music, smoking

Important Reminders:

  • Trash: With large crowds expected on our beaches, we ask all beachgoers to use trash receptacles or take back what you bring. Littering is a violation and subject to a fine.
  • Sea Turtle Nesting Season: Please keep a 10-foot buffer from any sea turtle nest. Fill in all holes and remove obstacles from the beach to protect nesting sea turtles and hatchlings.

Naples Landing Closure

The Naples Landing Park, including the boat ramp and parking lot, will be closed beginning Thursday, July 3 at 1:00 AM and will reopen on July 4 at 4:00 PM. Please plan ahead and use alternative boat launch locations.
