On Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Naples Pride Inc. will host Naples Pridefest in Cambier Park. Several thousand people are expected to attend - both in support of and in protest against - the event.

The Naples Police Department asks that everyone in attendance remain civil, cooperative, and respectful to help ensure the peace and safety of all present.

Our mission is clear: To safeguard all individuals, maintain public peace, and protect everyone's constitutional rights.

The First Amendment guarantees the right to peaceably assemble, express views, and protest - regardless of viewpoint. However, it does not protect violence or unlawful conduct.

A fundamental right guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States to all who live in this nation is equal protection under the law. 

We will have a strong security presence throughout the event. Our officers are here to:

• Preserve peace

• Prevent crime

• Protect the rights of all participants, including attendees and protestors

We ask that everyone:

• Respect each other’s right to be there.

• Avoid confrontation or antagonizing others.

• Do not obstruct motorists, pedestrians, local businesses, or passersby.

Any individuals or groups engaging in unlawful behaviorwill be addressed immediately in accordance with the law. Officers will take action to ensure the safety of the event while protecting the rights of all involved.
