On March 8, 2024, at approximately 9:56 am, a victim/reporter called the Naples Police Department to report being battered by a motorist following a crash. During the investigation, it was determined Adrian Keys was upset due to the victim being involved in a vehicle accident with Keys’ wife. After the crash investigation was completed, Keys approached the victim shouting obscenities. Keys then put his hands around the victim’s neck and stated he was going to kill him.

On March 13, 2024, Keys was arrested at the Naples Police Department where he was charged with one count of misdemeanor Battery, a violation of F.S.S. 784.03(1)(a)(1).
