On October 16, 2025, at approximately 4:00pm, Detectives with the Naples Police Department Special Investigations Unit, assisted by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), and the Air Marine Operations Center (AMOC), received credible information regarding narcotics being transported on an incoming aircraft.

Surveillance was established, and detectives observed passenger Christopher Bower load several bags into a vehicle before departing. After observing a traffic infraction, detectives initiated a traffic stop and conducted further investigation that ultimately led to the discovery of narcotics.

A search of the vehicle revealed 6 vials of cocaine (1.1g), 29 Xanax tablets (6.5g), 11 methamphetamine capsules (3.7g), 15 methamphetamine capsules (purple, 4.5g), and 19 capsules of Psilocybin mushrooms (3.8g). Bower was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Xanax, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
