ARREST: FELON IN POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION/OUTSTANDING WARRANTS

On March 31, 2024, a traffic stop in the Olde Naples neighborhood resulted in the arrest of 60-year-old Anthony Carlone. Record checks showed Carlone had an active felony failure to appear warrant out of Lee County for possession of controlled substances and possession of a concealed firearm. After detaining Carlone, a search was conducted of his vehicle, which resulted in the discovery of more handgun and rifle ammunition. Carlone is currently prohibited by Florida law from possessing ammunition or firearms. He was booked at the Collier County Jail for his warrants, as well as Possession of Ammunition by a Person Under Court Ordered Injunction.
