ARREST: GRAND THEFT OVER $20,000

On March 4, 2024, management at 7-Eleven (31 9th Street North, Naples, FL 34102) called the Naples Police Department to report the theft of approximately $25,000 from the store’s safe. During the investigation, it was discovered that employee Todd Jay Domer, disconnected the store’s video surveillance cameras, removed cash from the store’s safe and fled the area.

Through further investigation, detectives with the Naples Police Department were able to learn Domer was traveling to Tampa on a Greyhound bus. Detectives arrived in Tampa that night, received assistance from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, and recovered a substantial portion of the stolen cash from Domer.

On March 11, 2024, Domer was placed under arrest for Grand Theft between $20,000 - $100,000, a violation of F.S.S. 8112.014(2)(b)(1).
